Not like the ones you print from scrap wood, acrylic, or draft board that aren’t accurate to scale. These last and are very durable even when used day after day, over and over. We use them daily and LOVE them.
This starter kit comes with 4-bed risers and 12, 24, 48, or 60 crumb tray pins, these were created specifically for a laser cutter, and have been tortured tested in our Glowforge.

These are especially useful for cuts that require more than 1 pass. Get super-precise cuts every time and don’t worry about vibrations shifting your material!
Included on the bottom of these risers are 4 neodymium rare-Earth magnets. They are embedded in the bottom that will very securely stick to the steel on the bottom of your laser, adding tons of confidence that they won't move between cuts and engraving. this will enable you to get super-precise cuts.
The risers are offered in Imperial measurements. The Imperial graduations are .5”, 1”, and 1.4” (the crumb tray itself is 1.4” thick). I do not recommend using these with the crumb tray in place! However, the metric blocks will fit underneath the Glowforge cutter head by a few millimeters.

Not like ones you print from scrap wood, acrylic, or draft board, that end up breaking off and getting stuck in the honeycombs. These last and are very durable even removed with pliers over and over. We use them daily and LOVE them.

PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR GLOWFORGE MODEL IS MAGNETIC ON THE BOTOM PLATE.
It May fit other laser machines, however, this is not garunteed.
The pin will extend above your material by approximately 7.7mm (+/- .1 - 0.3 mm). Our pins are designed to be just a hair over the intended size, by doing this with a little wear and tear they remain snug while holding down the material.
If they are snug upon first use, push the pin in until it stops, then give the pin a quarter turn, then turn back to the original position, now you are able to push down further, repeat as needed for deport insert.
