Not like ones you print from scrap wood, acrylic, or draft board, that end up breaking off and getting stuck in the honeycombs. These last and are very durable even removed with pliers over and over. We use them daily and LOVE them.
These Material hold-down Pins were created specifically for a laser cutter, and have been tortured tested in our Glowforge.
This listing includes Honeycomb pins to hold your material to your Glowforge crumb tray. They are lower profile when used than the normal pins.
Available in many options, from colors and quantities.
These are especially useful for cuts that require more than 1 pass. Get super-precise cuts every time and don’t worry about vibrations shifting your material!

The pin will extend above your material by approximately 7.7mm (+/- .1 - 0.3 mm).
Our pins are designed to be just a hair over the intended size, by doing this with a little wear and tear they remain snug while holding down the material.
If they are snug upon first use, push the pin in until it stops, then give the pin a quarter turn, then turn back to the original position, now you are able to push down further, repeat as needed for deport insert.
